My research focusses on applying Machine Learning methods to solve Marketing challenges in the Automotive Industry. Jointly with my practice partner AMAG, I investigate a variety of questions, ranging from supporting pricing decisions to building recommender systems on which product will suit the needs of the customer best.

Educational background and practical experiences
I hold a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and business administration from RWTH Aachen, Germany. During my studies, I spent an exchange year at KTH, Sweden (2014) and worked as a graduate researcher at the Sloan School of Management within the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Center, USA, where I also wrote my master’s thesis (2018).

After my studies, I joined Verve Ventures, one of the most active European venture investors, as an Investment Associate for technical startups. Further practical experiences include internships at Henkel and McKinsey & Company.

Supervising Master’s theses related to:
To me it is important to bridge the gap between development of advanced technical methods and making them applicable to business settings. All Master’s thesis I supervise will therefore be jointly with AMAG. If you are interested to work with me, you should feel comfortable with Python and have knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms. In return, you will get a real-world data set to work with that has likely not been used in an academic context before!
