Daniel Schoess

Research Interests

My research focuses on developing deep learning models to tackle challenges in marketing. I am particularly interested in multimodal representation learning, fusing different data types. Additionally, I'm exploring the application of large language models and generative AI in this field to see how they can offer innovative solutions.

My studies have consisted of a combination of Computer Science and Business, both in my undergraduate studies at TU Berlin and my graduate studies at ETH Zürich. I spent a semester at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in South Korea. I am also engaged in research in collaboration with the Operations Research Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where I completed my Master's thesis.

Supervising Master's theses related to: Representation learning, large language models/generative AI, and deep learning.
